About

Outlier Fringe Watch is a preparedness intelligence and situational awareness platform. It collects open-source reports about events that matter to people who need to stay aware — responders, radio operators, storm trackers, emergency planners, prepared families, and anyone who pays attention when something unusual is happening.

We track reporting across weather, SAR and rescue, communications, preparedness, infrastructure, public safety, emerging threats, and unusual or unexplained events. The goal is not to cover everything in the news. The goal is to surface what may affect safety, operations, or readiness.

For each item, we aim to help you understand four things:

We do not tell you what to think. We present information from open sources, label uncertainty where it exists, and let you decide what action — if any — makes sense for your situation.
